Level 3 Award in Aerial Rescue Techniques (NPTC qual number 21-06)

This standard covers tree climbing (using both ladders and climbing equipment) to carry out rescues in a variety of contexts (pruning operation, cutting, dismantling or rigging). The aerial rescues include recovery of both conscious and unconscious casualties.

 

Tree climbing and aerial rescue is a 5 day training course, taking up to 4 delegates and is followed by an independent NPTC assessment on a separate day.
