Trailer Handling

Contour Training Ltd provide trailer handling training courses accredited by Lantra Awards. The Lantra Awards course can be tailored to cover both on-road and off-road trailer towing training. We can also arrange for DSA approved driving instructors to carry out the training for anyone who needs to be trained up for a Driving Standards Agency test for car and trailer towing (category B + E).

Employers have a legal responsibility under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Act 1998 (PUWER 98) to provide adequate training and supervision to all staff required to operate machinery in the workplace. Trailer Handling training courses give candidates the knowledge to tow and reverse large trailers safely, reducing the risk of damage to equipment or injury to personnel.
